So tomorrow is my last day at home for awhile, I leave early Tuesday morning. Like I said in my previous post, I am having mixed feelings about it. One part of me is excited, and looking forward to this experience. The other part of me is sad about leaving, as things are going good here and summer is also kind of meant to be spent at home, bored, and doing things you don’t have time for during the year when there’s school (which I’m already looking forward to by the way.. kind of sad
) and work (I love my job as well). I’ll really miss Mike (and everyone else of course), just because we spend most of our time together and we’re really close. Anyway.. I really should finish packing.
OH! I saw Kate Voegle last night (Mia from OTH, I adore that show!)
Leaving for Colorado Tuesday morning.. I’ll be gone a month. I’m not good at leaving
No good at change in general I suppose. Luckily I’m good at adapting, but still. It feels weird.
I’m also excited though.
I have been getting views pretty much everyday, despite not having written for two weeks. Sometimes you just don’t feel like writing about yourself, you know? I made a new blog that’s not as personal (I really need to get out of my introverted head >_>), here’s the link: thingoftheday.wordpress.com
I’ll probably still be writing here from time to time though. Leaving for Colorado in ten days, I need to start packing. How on earth do you pack for a month long trip though? :/
Went to Tahoe with Mike 2 weeks ago, it was a lot of fun. We went mini golfing, went to the beach, went out to beach, went to some stores, and watched a movie.
Tomorrow is our 14 month anniversary ^^
I can’t believe I still haven’t learn that I shouldn’t get my hopes up for anything. Every single time I get excited for something the plans always fall through. I’m not exaggerating either, it’s been that way for years >_< From now on I should honestly not get excited for anything. Sigh.
Summer
I haven’t written in almost three weeks; I have been super busy with school. Now I am done with high school and also my college classes though, so I’ll have more time to write.
I decided on my major.. I know I was talking about being a health psychologist before, but they only make $24,000 a year and I think I’d get bored after awhile. After my mom told me a few days ago how good I am with kids, I thought about become a child psychologist. It’d be a great job, I’d have my own practice and they make about $125,000 a year. Got a few books on children today from the library
Just made a delicious lunch (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/mario-batali/penne-puttanesca-recipe/index.html) and bought a new swimsuit
Going out with Mike and his friends tonight, they are playing some game. Hopefully I won’t get too bored
One year
Here are some pictures from the disposable camera Mike and I bought on our one year anniversary; I might add some more later
Lost in Translation
is an awesome movie.
I couldn’t find the song that plays at the end on youtube unfortunately, they were all live :/
Sunday
So last weekend I went to Santa Cruz, haven’t really had time to write about that yet. I got to drive my mom’s car partway both home and back, that was fun. When we got to Santa Cruz my mom and I were both starving, so went to a Vegetarian restuarant called Saturn. I had an avocado and cheese sandwich and a Hibiscus Cooler. My mom and a burrito. It was super hot there, about 94 degrees Fahrenheit the first day. Then we went on a little shopping spree, I got a pair of sunglasses, a pair of shoes, and two dresses, and she got two pairs of shoes and a shirt. We went out for sushi for dinner, and then we watched some movie on TV. The next day we went to a bakery and got some sandwiches and stuff, and went to the beach to eat. Then we walked around Capitola, and I got a delicious smoothie. Later we walked to the Boardwalk, then went out for pizza (where they accidentally put pepperoni instead of pineapple on the pizza, ick >_>). After that we went back to the hotel. The next morning we went on a tour at UCSC, I really want to go there! It was amazing, a really pretty campus and you can live in an apartment on it instead of having to have a dorm. And you can eat in class, which is definitely a plus
Yesterday I hung out with Mike, we went out for lunch. Then we went back to his house where I proceeded to fall asleep (I have a cold). Went out to Strings for dinner, then went to Target, and then we watched Catch Me If You Can at his house. Good day
We really do make a good couple, we complement eachother.
Anyway, I’m going to go make some breakfast and whatnot.
I have to pick up my aunt from the airport in a few hours, hopefully I don’t get lost >_>
I also have like 3 math tests tomorrow
I’ve been studying all day, kind of boring. I had my group presentation last night, first I was extremely nervous but it actually went well ^^
Anyway, I went to Santa Cruz last weekend with my mom, I’ll write about that this weekend when I have more time, unfortunately I have to study more now :/
I feel
so stressed out right now D: Of course I have a shitload of stuff to do tonight, I just want to go to bed :/ Eating some yummy pumpkin muffins though
I have a presentation on Wednesday, which is the main source of my stress. I am terrified of speaking in front of people ahh. Anyway.. I really should get started on all my stuff.
